Tip of the Day: Number 17: Leviathan Dragon

Number 17: Leviathan Dragon is a XYZ monster card that allows you to detach its materials in order to increase its attack.  With a starting attack of 2000, this monster was already a powerful level 3 XYZ.  However, after two turns and detaching two materials, the monster becomes just as powerful as the Blue Eyes White Dragon.

This card works great in a Fiend Deck with Tour Guide From the Underworld.  Using Tour Guide, you can special summon another Level 3 monster and immediately XYZ for Leviathan.

Tip of the Day: Tour Guide From the Underworld

Tour Guide From the Underworld is a  Tournament worthy card whose effect allows you to Special Summon 1 level 3 Fiend monster from your hand or deck when it is Normal Summoned.

Today's tip of the day focuses on Ritual Summoning quickly using Tour Guide.  By using Tour Guide, you can then Special Summon Djinn Releaser of Rituals, XYZ Summon for Leviathan, and then use Djinn's effect from the graveyard, allowing you to Ritual Summon for Herald of Perfection.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Galactic Overlord

This weekend marked the release of another fine pack from Konami. This time being Galactic Overload.

Fuck look at that, look at this pack. Look at that monster. Oh man this pack is so awesome. It's packed with over 100 new cards, many of which being the awesome Hieratic dragons, and it even sports one card worth over $100. Not to mention that dragon on the cover has to be the coolest looking thing ever.

The cover card this time around is Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. Look at him, he's not just any dragon, he's the freaking overlord. 3 level 8 monsters. 4500 attack, negate monster effects, and be a complete dick to all Xyz monsters, just like every other card related to Galaxy Eyes.

And then your opponent pulls a cheap move and here comes a Fissure with your name on it. So both your plan and your Neo's go down the drain... Even still, this card is sexy, and it's a card no one wants to see on their opponents side of the field.
