Yu-Gi-Oh: Hieratic Dragons, Part 3

For starters, you probably want to get your hands on the cards themselves. The following is a list of the cards included in the Hieratic archtype including their support cards. 

Monsters

•  Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb
•  Hieratic Dragon of Nuit
•  Hieratic Dragon of Eset
•  Hieratic Dragon of Nebthet
•  Hieratic Seal of the Dragon King
•  Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit
•  Hieratic Dragon of Su
•  Hieratic Dragon of Asar
•  Hieratic Dragon of Sutekh
•  Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord

Spells:

• Hieratic Seal of Convocation
• Hieratic Seal of Supremacy

Traps:

• Hieratic Seal of Banishment 
• Hieratic Seal of Reflection
• Hieratic Seal From the Ashes

Xyz's:

• Hieratic Dragon King of Atum
• Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis

Outside of your staple cards (Mirror Force, Honest, Monster Reborn), there's a number of other cards that could go well with this deck. The first being a card that's pretty much standard for any dragon deck.

Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is never a bad idea for a deck that is just dragons. Plus he's just a big 'fuck you' to everyone everywhere. 

Other fun ideas for this deck are as follows:

Your opponent declares a monster Level. Reveal cards from the top of your Deck until you reveal a monster that can be Normal Summoned. If that monster is the same Level as the one declared by your opponent, send all revealed cards to the Graveyard. If not,Special Summon the revealed monster, also send the remaining cards to the Graveyard.

During the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, draw 1 card from your Deck for each Dragon-Type monster discarded from your hand and/or Tributed during this turn.

Discard 1 Level 8 monster to draw 2 cards.

These choices are pretty self explanatory. Reasoning is always fun, requiring a tad bit of luck, however it's well worth it if you'r opponent guesses wrong. Since this deck is pretty good on tributing, Super Rejuvenation isn't a bad idea. And lastly, this deck has it's fair share of level 8 monsters, just in case the little fuckers don't feel like co-operating, you can always go with Trade-In to back you up and get rid of those pesky eggs.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Hieratic Dragons, Part 2

Still think the Hieratic dragons suck? Well you're wrong. Take a closer look at this set of cards and their potential should be clear. Each card that's over level 4 has some way to special summon itself or another card from your deck, take Tefnuit for example.

He's essentially a Cyber Dragon that fits neatly with this deck. And he's not the only one that can be special summoned. Many of the cards can be special summoned by tributing a Hieratic monster on the field. Which is cool you know that's ok... except, wham, this deck takes it a step further. 

Every single monster in this deck (outside of the eggs) can special summon a monster when it's tribute summoned. And since the wording on the cards say you can tribute a monster to special summon this card,  you only need 3 monsters in your hand to get enough monsters on the field and Exeed for not some Rank 4, but for a Rank 6 or even 8. And that's not even counting the spells that go with them.

With the Seal of Convocation and the seal of Supremacy, you can add whatever Hieratic monster from your deck to your hand and then special summon it with no cost.

To summarize, this deck fucking rocks.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Hieratic Dragons, Part 1

The Hieratic archtype is a relatively new set that was just introduced in the Galactic Overlord pack. This set of cards has some serious potential and is already highly sought after. IE, be prepared to see these fuckers at a tournament near you.

To sum up the whole deck, the idea is to get the 2 egg... things on the field using the abilities of the other dragons, and then Exeed summon for one of two amazing Hieratic Xyz. 

On top of just being gorgeous and stupidly strong, these two Xyz can be used to special summon your dragons (Hieratic Dragon King of Atum) or be used to destroy your opponents monsters (Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis). 

But let's say you're not in the mood for completely fucking your opponent over with just dragons, the way this deck is set up, you could Exceed for just about any level 6 or level 8 Xyz monster. Including Neo's. 

Now you might be sitting there thinking, man this is so stupid, there's only like.. 2 level 4 cards. Everything else needs a tribute. So how the fuck is this any good?
